Import Sites

Instead of entering sites manually to a subproject the upload functionality can be used to add the sites to the SubProject.

Click the "Import Sites" Button in SubProject Data view to open the upload view.

To Upload the sites into Solo you need to download the template first. Please note that you can do the site upload only just with this particular template. If you use a different one or if you change something within this file, the upload won't work.

The user has to enter all site and project related details - just in the white cells of the template. If the Protocol or SubProject Code does not match with the details of the Solo Subproject where you want to add the sites or if values entered in cells highlighted in grey, the upload will be denied.

Upload a maximum of 303 sites at once per SubProject.
Mandatory fields (marked with *) need to be populated and filed length restrictions have to be met:

For longer entry an error notification will appear.
Corresponding to the site's place please select a 'Country' and a 'State' ISO code from the dropdown menu and do not enter a different value (see below). If the country is other than AU, BR, CA, KZ, MX, RU, US the state code entry is 'N/A'

If the site list is completed just save file on your computer. Click on "Browse" button to select the file from your computer in the "Import Site"-view.

After file selection "Upload and Validate". Now Solo is checking if the spreadsheet contains valid data.
If there are too many issues Solo may return a unspecified error message.
In case of data issues this will be displayed on the bottom. Further information about the error is displayed under "Status Log" column on the right end.

If no errors have been found in the file the Status Log shows OK. To cancel the upload please click on "Cancel" instead of "Save". No site will be uploaded. If you click on "Save" all the sites will be uploaded to the subproject. It can take a while depending on how many sites you upload at once.

If the site upload is done please leave the view with "Cancel".
