Destruction
This function allows the management of the Destructions. Depending on the users’ profile, Destructions can be initiated, cancelled, pre-confirmed, confirmed , despatched, destroyed.
This option is in the Operations/Destruction menu:

In the Destruction menu the Search Destructions screen is displayed and it contains the following filters:
•Sponsor
•Project type
•Status
•Protocol
•Subproject
•Site N°
•Request Date (From-To)
•Despatch Date (From-To)
•Despatch No.
•Order No.
By filling in the filters and clicking the Search button the application will display the list of Destructions according to the selected criterion:

In case all the filters are left in blank, the application displays the list of all Destructions in the system.
If the user clicks the Reset button, all the filters will be reset and it will be ready for a new search.
By clicking the New button, a new Destruction can be created and the system will open a new window in which the Customer, Protocol, Warehouse and Subproject have to be
selected.

By clicking the Next button, the following screen is displayed. Also, there are two options: the Reset button to reset the filters and the Cancel button to cancel the creation of a new Destruction.
By clicking the Next button, the system displays the following screen where all the data of the new Destruction have to be completed:
The header fields are automatically completed with the data previously selected; the operation can be Saved without completing any field,

After "Save" the status will be saved as “Initiated" - this is the only status that can will allow the user to cancel the destruction.

At this point, the user will be able to select between "Cancel" and "Save". If the Cancel button is selected, the status of the operation changes to “Cancelled” and can not be changed.
Save will change the status of the operation to “In Process”
Now, user can complete Request Data section:
•Requested by (mandatory)
•Request Date (mandatory)
•Request N°
•Planned Destruction Date (mandatory)

Then choose Product from Storage Location (Depot) and select

Then units in status "quarantined, rejected or returned" can be selected for destruction
This window will be different in case the product contains kits or not. In case the product contains kits the window will be as follows:

In this case, all the desired boxes have to be selected and the 'Add' button should be clicked in order to move the kits from “In Depot” to “In Preparation”. To move them back to the depot, they have to be selected and then the 'Delete' button should be clicked.

Click on 'Back' to save the selected unit/s.
Select the icon for data to view the data of relatd reception or return operation:

Then by clicking the Cancel button, the previous screen will be displayed and the kits will appear in the products list.
In Process destruction has active Cancel button. After remove all items Operator can cancel the destruction.

In case the product has NO kits, the following window will be displayed:

In this case, to be able to move the units to “On Preparation” the user has to click the Magnifying glass.
Another pop up window will be displayed and it will allow entering the quantity to move:

The user has to enter the quantity, which should not be higher than the one in the depot and click the Save button.

The units are moved to “In Preparation”:

In this screen there is an option to View Reception. By clicking this button, the data of the related Reception or Return will be displayed:

Once all the above-mentioned data is completed, user will use common paper printer for Print Tag

And generate the Destruction Picklist for printing

Next will be user to Pre-Confirm the operation.
By clicking the Pre-confirm button, the message “The operation was successful" is displayed and the status of the operation changes to “Pre-Confirmed” showing in the “Control Data” section the user and the date of Pre-confirmation.

At this point the application will allow either to “Cancel Pre-confirmation” or “Verify” by means of the corresponding buttons.
If the Cancel Pre-confirmation button is selected, the status of the corresponding Destruction will change to “In Process”.
If Verify is selected by the 2nd user, the message for input "Verification reason” will be displayed. If accepted, the status of the Destruction will change to “Verified”, indicating in “Control Data” the user that Confirmed and the date of Confirmation, it also indicates the number of units and the Verification comment.

In order to Despatch it is necessary to enter the information for Destruction Initiation including Transport Manifest No. (Waybill) under "Reference". By clicking the Despatched button, the status of the operation will change to “Despatched” while the product status will stay "In Preparation Not Confirmed". Tracking Report will be showing despatched units as "In Preparation Not Confirmed" Inventory Report and Disposition Inventory Report will no longer show the despatched units. A position that becomes empty during despatched destruction will be available for further receptions.

In order to Destroy, it is necessary to complete the "Manifest Date" and the "Official Certification Date" of the “Destruction Data” section. By clicking the Destroyed button, the status of the operation will change to “Destroyed”:

Moreover, in the Destructions list of the Search Destruction screen there is the option to View Destruction. The Destructions can be edited while they are not confirmed. Once they are confirmed, no modifications can be made.
A Print Report is available from the screen to show and print the Destruction Form for PMI (Product Management Incineration)
